Hi, I’m Rhea.
TESOL-certified. Five years teaching online.
I have taught English for five years. Before that I worked the front desk at a hotel in Cebu, where I heard every accent there is, so almost nothing throws me now. Evenings I watch too much television — currently a Chinese period drama that I follow by inventing the plot whenever the subtitles get ahead of me.
“What did you do today? Start anywhere — I’ll wait.”
A student once sent me a list of shows to watch, promising I would understand half the dialogue by the end. I am on the third one. I still don’t. They are very good shows.
