By Min, Chinese teacher on Good Talk · October 27, 2026

The cyclone is here. Aunt Em climbs down into the cellar, Toto hides under the bed, and before Dorothy can follow, the little house spins and rises into the sky with her inside.

In this video Min, a Chinese teacher on Good Talk, reads the second half of chapter 1 aloud, explains it sentence by sentence and goes over it at the end. The notes below list the words worth learning and the grammar in each paragraph.
